Alaska Hunting Adventures
Hunt with some of the best professional guides in the business.

Every year the Tok Management Area produces several rams measuring 40 inches or better and permits are highly valued.  The famous Summar ram (#7 Boone and Crockett record book, pictured below & mounted by Frank Entsminger), measuring over 48" was taken in the Tok Management Area.

This is a drawing permit area with 100 permits issued each year.  Whereas rams taken in the TMA have horns averaging 36 to 37.5 inches, Matt’s clients have averaged 39.9 inches in the Tok Management Area. During the 2006 season, five out of six of Matt’s clients took rams with horns over 40 inches. This is a phenomenal accomplishment. If you book a sheep hunt by November, Matt automatically puts you in the drawing for a Tok Management Area permit. (See application) If you are unsuccessful in drawing a TMA permit, Matt has an open hunting area for rams with horns averaging 37 ½ inches. Matt's clients also have experienced extremely high success rates on other top Alaskan trophies including brown, grizzly and black bears, Alaska-Yukon bull moose, Alaska barren ground caribou, mountain goat and wolf.

Every hunt is custom designed to meet your specific needs. Matt uses the best means of transportation to get you into the remote parts of his hunting area.  Most hunting is done in the high country requiring hiking and carrying a pack including a mobile camp.

Destination is Tok, Alaska where we will pick you up for our Mile 91 Tok Cutoff home and base camp.  You can fly to Anchorage or Fairbanks, and then take a bus or flight to Tok.  Coming from Anchorage, we recommend Alaska Direct 800-770-6652 on Sunday, Wednesday or Friday, the bus will drop you off at Mile 91 Tok Hwy.  Coming from Fairbanks Monday - Friday, we recommend 40-Mile Air 800-884-0027 or 907-883-5191,.  Some clients choose to rent a car.

Matt's hunting areas are truly wild. You’ll have a good chance of seeing trophy Dall rams, giant Alaska-Yukon bull moose and prime black bears and mountain grizzlies all in the same area. All of the sweat and hard work will be worthwhile when you finally connect on the trophy that you’ve always dreamed about, taken in the true spirit of fair chase. You will come as a client, but you¹ll leave as a friend.
